A DAY-BY-DAY LOOK AHEAD
Jerusalem
Walk in the footsteps of Jesus through the Old City of Jerusalem. The birthplace of Jesus Christ is a must-see for pilgrims wishing to walk in his footsteps and visit the milestones of his life. Dozens of pilgrimage sites are spread throughout Israel, around half of them in the vicinity of Jerusalem and another third in Galilee, mainly in Nazareth and around the Sea of Galilee.
Western Wall
Touch the Western Wall. This is THE most holy place for Jews in Israel – the remains of the Western Wall that surrounded the Holy Temple in biblical times. It is literally the beating heart of all Jews around the world.
Sea of Galilee
Set sail on the Sea of Galilee. The Sea of Galilee is one of the most uplifting places to visit in the Holy Land for Christian pilgrims. Around this lake, Jesus performed some of his most famous miracles – walking on water, feeding the multitudes, healing the sick, and more.
Jordan River
Be immersed/baptized in the Jordan River. To be baptized in the same place where Jesus was baptized is a uniquely spiritual moment for the Christian believer.
Communion
Take communion in the Garden Tomb. This tomb is at least 2,000 years - it was here the night Jesus died. It exactly matches the Bible account in a way that no other tomb around here does. If you remember the Resurrection morning, the stone would have been about six feet in diameter and weighed two tons.
